Patricia Bennett had an exhibition of almost 70 paintings comprising five years of work on view at the University of Baltimore Law School until November 2011. The show was entitled, "New Realism".

	Patricia Bennett works out of her studio in Baltimore, Maryland. Her work can be
	seen at her studio and Orchard Gallery in Bethesda. After receiving a B.A. in 
	physics from Reed College, Bennett attended the Art Institute of Chicago for a year. 
	Then she studied at the Baltimore-based Schuler School of Fine Arts, a four year
	full-time atelier program. Three of those years, she also took classes from Matt Zoll.
		 
	Bennett has shown work at Maryland Hall, the University of Baltimore Law School
	Gallery, Orchard Gallery, the School 33 Art Center, the Schuler Gallery, among
	other places.
		 
	Awards and recognition include: 2007 and 2005 Finalist in Artist Magazine, Still
	life, national contest.
