Patricia BennettŐs Paintings of Urban Baltimore Debut at Artomatic

May 9 to June 15, 2008

Patricia BennettŐs paintings of urban Baltimore debut at Artomatic, Washington D.C.Ős largest annual artist extravaganza.  BennettŐs colorful and sharp-eyed Baltimore cityscapes are previewing at Artomatic from May 9 until June 15.  In November the full show will debut at Antreasian Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland.

ŇOne Mile North, One Mile SouthÓ features contemporary realism at the crossroads of BaltimoreŐs past, present, and future.  The series will look accurately and creatively at one mile north and one mile south of Saint Paul Street, stretching from the old riches of the Guilford neighborhood to the struggling business district of North Avenue.  BennettŐs display is on the fifth floor, south side, facing Union Station.

BennettŐs accomplishments are gathering momentum, and her third solo show this November ŇOne Mile North, One Mile SouthÓ will be notable for her Baltimore pictorial representations and rising career.

Patricia Bennett is a 2007 & 2005 Still Life Finalist in the national Artist Magazine, and her paintings have appeared in Baltimore Magazine and The Baltimore Sun.  She is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the International Guild of Realism, and the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association.  From 2005 to 2007 she was a juried resident artist at the School 33 Art Center in Baltimore.  More can be found at her Web site www.patriciabennettstudio.com.
